The fully blued barrel is marked "COLT 45 AUTO MATCH" on the lower left and "MP" in a circle on the left of the lug. It is fitted with a very attractive pair of period installed replacement Roper style checkered walnut target grips with "50" stamped inside each panel. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration, including the adjustable rear sight, grips not listed, and as being sold to D.W. Jones of Berwyn, Illinois and shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. in Chicago on 24 October 1940.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retains 97% plus of the original blue finish with some very light edge wear and a very light takedown mark. The grips are also excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The magazine is absent.
