Manufactured in 1932, the left side of the matching numbered slide has the standard two-line address and patent dates while the right has the standard National Match and Colt markings followed by the Rampant Colt. The left of the trigger guard is marked "W/VP" while the right is marked "20", and the standard Government Model marking is over the serial number on the right of the frame. The barrel has a polished chamber hood and "MP" in a circle on the left of the lug. It is fitted with blade front and notch rear sights, checkered trigger, slide stop, thumb safety, and wide hammer, an arched checkered mainspring housing, an unmarked two-tone magazine, and a pair of checkered walnut grips.

Fine, retains 70% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, primarily on the leading edges of the slide and the grips straps. The worn grips are very good with moderate wear and the majority of the checkering remaining well-defined. Mechanically excellent.
