Marked on top of the trigger pack with the serial number and address on the left side of the trigger housing, this auto sear unit is fitted for a "shelf" pattern receiver, in safe/semi/full-auto configuration and a right handed selector. The matching serial number is repeated on the bolt carrier.

Originally manufactured in 1986 by Heckler & Koch as a HK94 semi-automatic carbine, this item was converted by Ciener into a silenced short barreled rifle in emulation of the "MP5SD". Famous for use by the U.S. Navy SEALs and other elite operators, the original SD design used a ported barrel within an expansion chamber to bleed gas away before the round leaves the rifling, giving subsonic performance with standard NATO ball ammunition. In contrast, this example has an 8 inch long expansion chamber with loose metallic filler and a 5 inch long conventional baffle stack, the latter welded to the former to make the silencer fully integral to the item, allowing both the host and the silencer to be on a single NFA stamp form. Post front and four position drum rear sights, with a ribbed and checkered plastic sleeve over the silencer, Ciener's address on the left side of the shelf-pattern receiver, "IG" date on top, standard magazine well markings, textured right handed pistol grip and 2-position telescoping buttstock. The bolt head is also dated "IG", and as noted previously the carrier is numbered to match the trigger pack, with a professionally welded-up sear trip. Included with the lot is a Galati International soft case, two extra magazines, and a fixed plastic buttstock.

Very fine as upgraded to full auto, with 90% of the factory quality matte black finish, showing mild wear around and behind the charging handle, mild edge wear and light handling marks. The furniture is in equal condition. Mechanically excellent.
