Manufactured by La France Specialties of California as a faithful copy of the famous FAL battle rifle. Known as "the right arm of the free world", the Belgian-designed FAL was a signature weapon of NATO and Western Europe during the Cold War. Adjustable post front and tangent peep rear sight, with a thread protector (shaped like a ported flash hider, but not actually ported) on the threaded muzzle, adjustable gas system, triangular handguard, smooth pistol grip and a fixed buttstock. The receiver is configured with a metric pattern magazine well and a proper pocket for the auto sear, with "F.A.L. 7.62/SN 3352" on the left side and the La France address on the right. The trigger housing is fitted with a right handed selector switch, "S/R/A" position markings, and a fully functional safe/semi/full trigger group. The bolt assembly is numbered "05778", with a sear trip added to the formerly semi-automatic bolt carrier.

Very fine, with 75% of the matte black finish, showing areas of wear and finish loss exposing a gray phosphate base layer, along with some light scratches and handling marks. The furniture shows a number of light scuffs and dings. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
