The casehardened scalloped, boxlock action displays a running red stag and hind on the left and a pointer flushing a quail on the right both surrounded by scroll. The gun features double triggers (front is a single set), cocking indicators, a Greener style safety, and tang mounted selector switch. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and horn grip cap and buttplate. Length of pull 13 7/8 inches. Very fine, retaining 98% reapplied blue finish, traces of case colors on the action with the balance a fine silver patina, overall mild handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the wood. The scope has clear optics. Mechanically excellent.
