Manufactured in 1978 and subsequently custom engraved and gold plated. Features full floral design engraving on the frame and 60% on the barrel. Inlaid with gold bordering at the muzzle, chamber, and around the outlines of the cylinder. The recoil shields is engraved with the mystical sword in the stone. A dog head with gold inlaid eyes is engraved on the hammer. The top of the barrel is marked with the one-line address, the left side is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45", and the two-line/three-patent date marking is on the left side of the frame followed by a "Rampant Colt." Both sides of the grip feature relief carved blank inscription panels. The accompanying factory letter verifies the caliber, 7 1/2 inch barrel and a blue finish with grips as "Not Listed" when it was shipped as a group of 45 revolvers to Ski's Sporting Center in Ottsville, Pennsylvania, on September 25, 1978.

Very fine overall as professionally embellished, retaining 99% plus of the blue and casehardened finishes with light handling marks and un-separated chip on the right grip panel. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.
