The included factory letter lists this revolver as having a 7 1/2 inch barrel chambered in .45 Long Colt with blue finish and grips not listed when shipped to Dixie Gun Works in Union City, Tennessee, on September 4, 1970 in a four gun shipment. Per page 191 of Don Wilkerson's "The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver, 1955-1975" this is one of only 1,026 revolvers manufactured in this configuration. Includes a Colt stagecoach box which numbered to the gun on the bottom in blue ink.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks and a faint partial cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine.
