This is an outstanding example of a 1961 manufactured, factory engraved Winchester Model 12 Pigeon Grade Skeet shotgun. Steel mid and red front bead sights on the matted solid rib, standard Winchester markings and proof, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and "WS-1" (skeet) choke. The blued receiver shows the "WP" proof on the top and No. 3 factory engraved pattern with scroll border and game scene of a dog on the right and three ducks on the left. There is also a pigeon engraved on the bottom of the magazine tube. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend and stock. Includes an original user's manual. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/2 inch drop at heel; 13 15/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 12 oz. Provenance: The Wayne Connor Collection
