Manufactured in 1950 and subsequently custom embellished/upgraded to the current configuration by Japanese Master Engraver Shiro Ogawa. Single white bead sight on the matted solid rib, 1 1/2 inch wedges of scroll at the muzzle, 2 3/4 inch wedges of scroll at the breech, scroll engraving on the receiver extension, choke marked "FULL", and a 3 inch chamber. The receiver is covered with deep relief cut scrollwork over a matted background surrounding a trio of silver relief inlaid geese in flight over a field on the left and a trio of relief inlaid silver mallards landing on a pond on the right. The gun is signed by the engraver at the top of the ejection port "OGAWA". Beautifully figured, fleur-de-lis checkered forend and pistol grip stock with blued steel grip cap and Winchester rubber recoil pad.
