Manufactured between 1913 and 1923, with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The three-line patent and trademark information is on the upper tang and the serial number on the lower. The No. 1 weight barrel has the two-line address/patent marking, caliber marking at the breech, and is fitted with a Lyman hooded dual blade and peep front, along with a tang mounted folding Lyman peep rear sight. It is mounted with a smooth musket style forearm with finger gasping grooves and straight grip stock with a sling swivel and military style buttplate.

Excellent overall, with 90% plus of original blue finish retained with moderate handling wear and spotting, most notably on the right side of the receiver, barrel band, and buttplate. The stock is also excellent, with scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
