Manufactured in 1891. The top barrel flat is marked with the two-line address and caliber marking at the breech. The serial number is marked on the lower tang. It is fitted with a German silver blade front sight and elevation adjustable buckhorn rear sight. It is mounted with a Schnabel tip forearm with ebony insert and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. This rifle would have made an excellent pairing with a Colt Single Action Army revolver in .32 W.C.F., when long range work was needed.

Fine, retains 75% of the original blue and casehardened finishes with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina. The wood is also fine with numerous scattered minor dings and scratches scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent.
