Description:

Features blade front and Lyman receiver mounted adjustable peep sight, with the two-line Winchester address and patent markings on the left side ahead of "22 SHORT" and the Winchester "WP" stamp on top of the breech. The receiver marked with "US/ordnance bomb" on the upper tang immediately behind the hammer. Fitted with smooth straight wrist stock, with steel capped full length forearm, grasping grooves, and a smooth military style steel buttplate. Includes tan Kerr "No Buckle" web sling.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 60% plus of original blue finish retained with scattered handling marks, edge wear and smooth patina on the receiver, nose cap, and butt plate. The sanded, reoiled stock is very good, with light scattered handling marks and dents. Mechanically excellent.
