Blued Krupp Steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted flat vent rib, attractive scroll engraving at the breech around the upper chamber, and chambers measured 2 3/4 inches with automatic ejectors. The coin finished sideplated action displays extensive scroll engraving, deep cut bolsters, a dog and pheasant scene on the left, and five mallards in a pond scene on the right. Both of the game scenes have an attractive accenting gold inlaid single bird as the focal point. The gun features a single trigger and a tang mounted safety/selector switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered three-piece forend with engraved fittings and horn tip inlay and a straight grip stock with brown rubber recoil pad. Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus original blue and gold finishes, 90% original coin finish, minor handling evidence, slight rubbing at the muzzles, and a brown coloration on the triggerguard. There are a few cracks in the stock (one near the heel on the left and a few cross grain on the right), otherwise the wood is very fine with a few minor scratches, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
