Manufactured in 1964 and subsequently masterfully custom embellished to the current configuration. Blued barrel with dual sights on the factory matted vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chamber, choke marked full, and attractive scrollwork on either side of the receiver extension. The blued receiver is magnificently adorned with elaborate deep relief cut scroll engraving over a matted background surrounding a precious metal inlaid game scene on either side. The left has a silver pointer flushing a pair of golden pheasants in a wooded scene, and the right has a silver fox flushing a pair of gold mallards, all cut in very impressive detail. Though the work appears to be unsigned, it was clearly performed by the hands of a master of the craft. Attractively figured, multi-point figured forend and pistol grip stock with factory grip cap and recoil pad. Very fine as elaborately custom embellished, retaining 99% blue, silver, and gold finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the refinished stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
