Fitted with heavy profile custom barrel marked "45-70" and dated "3/23/60" under the handguard. Featuring folding Beech combination front and folding ladder peep rear sights, checkered walnut forend with mahogany tip, and checkered walnut semi pistol grip stock fitted with a mahogany pommel insert and shotgun style steel buttplate. The front of the barrel, the trigger guard, and the receiver have been professionally custom embellished with a closed style floral scroll, with a plains buffalo game scene on both sides of the receiver, and the buffalo raised with gold inlay.

Very fine as elaborately and professionally custom embellished, with faint edge wear and handling marks. The forend and buttstock are very fine with crisp checkering, fine grain figure, and minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
