Manufactured in 1955 and subsequently upgraded to current configuration. Features a hooded ramp front sight and an adjustable folding leaf rear sight with the receiver tapped for scope mounting. Standard markings and proofs. The bolt has a flag safety and bolt body is jeweled along with the magazine follower. The trigger guard and magazine floor plate are finely engraved with floral scroll ,with a game scene of an American Pronghorn, and the engravings bordered with gold inlay. Mounted in a fancy walnut multi-point checkered/relief carved stock with ebony tip, Winchester hard rubber grip cap, and checkered steel buttplate. Includes shipping box with fictitious yellow Winchester marked fantasy end label.

Very fine as custom upgraded to current configuration, retaining 98% of the blue finish with light handling marks and two spots of finish loss on the underside of the barrel. The stock is exceptionally fine. Mechanically excellent.
