Features a standard M4 carbine profile barrel with M203 step made from 4150 carbon steel, marked "DPMS 5.56 1-9" on the underside and "CHROME LINED" on top, with carbine-length gas block, fitted with a thread on compensator. Instead of the standard aluminum construction, both the upper and lower receiver are made from hardened steel topped off with a casehardened finish. The flat-top upper receiver lack a forward assist or dust cover provision, topped off with a 13-slot Picatinny rail. The lower receiver lacks the fencing found on standard lowers, and features an integral trigger guard. DPMS small parts and internal components used to complete the rifle. Fitted with a two-piece walnut carbine-length handguard with finger grasping grooves secured by delta ring, finger groove walnut pistol grip, and A2 profile walnut buttstock with two-sided slim cheek rest and black "ELIMINATOR" recoil pad. Magazine absent.

Excellent overall, with 99% plus of original black and casehardened finishes, with minimal handling marks and cycling wear. The casehardening is particularly vivid. A few light dings and scratches are present on the otherwise excellent furniture. Mechanically excellent.
