This is an early production rifle that was manufactured in Spain by the CETME corporation and imported into the US in the 1960-70s. This was originally based on the German design and was a predecessor to the H&K series of assault rifles. The side of the receiver is marked "MADE IN SPAIN/Exclusively for MARS Equipment Corp./Chicago 45, Illinois U.S.A." It has the four position flip rear sight and wooden buttstock. The receiver and trigger housing use the early "pin hinge" configuration, with an indentation in the right side of the housing preventing installation of a full automatic trigger pack. Includes three extra magazines and a sling.

Excellent, with 95% original matte black finish with some light marks, light ejection evidence, and a few scattered dings on the furniture. Mechanically excellent.
