Blued steel barrels with a low beaded blade front sight, flip-up rear sight, and holes drilled at tapped with filler screws for scope mounting on the matted solid rib, "J. BURY" and "ARQ. SIER A LIEGE" marked on the right and left respectively, wedges of scroll engraving at either breech, and chambers featuring automatic ejectors. The blued boxlock action displays border engraving, attractive flourishes surrounding the bolts and pins, and three relief gold inlaid animals, with a bore on the left, a running buck on the underside, and a bear on the right. The gun features double triggers (front is articulated), bushed firing pins, and a tang mounted manual safety with gold "S" marking. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and straight grip stock with carved drop points, rear sling swivel, and a serrated bare butt. Length of pull 14 inches. Very fine overall, retaining 95% original blue finish and 99% original gold, some minor handling evidence, some dings around both fences, and crisp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
