Manufactured 1977, this is a beautiful example of a sought after factory engraved Colt Python. The engraving is in a classic American style with tight scrolling swirls. Features a fixed blade front and adjustable rear sight, barrel has standard Colt markings, and it is engraved beautifully with scroll patterns. The frame and cylinder are covered in the scrollwork motifs as well, and a Colt logo marking is below the cylinder release on the left side. The left side of the grip frame is marked "COLT ENG." The included factory letter confirms the current configuration (grips not listed), including the Class "C" factory engraving, as well as shipment to Kamloops Distributing Co. in Boise, Idaho on 28 June 1977. Includes factory leatherette case.

Excellent overall, 99% plus original finish remains with some light handling marks, a faint cylinder drag line. Sharp grip checkering. The case is fine. Mechanically excellent.
