Manufactured in 1915, these Model 1892 carbines were incredibly popular in the American West due to their ability to pair with a Colt Single Action Army revolver and share ammunition. There were valued for their small size during the age of travel on horseback, and remained so into the age of the automobile. It has standard markings, including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with pinned blade front and folding ladder rear sights, as well as a saddle ring on the left of the receiver. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retains 75% of the original blue finish and 50% plus of the vibrant case colors on the lever with the receiver having flaked to a mottled grey-brown patina, having the look of a well-cared for working gun. The wood is also very fine with some scattered light dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
