Manufactured in 1918 and subsequently refurbished. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, tenth style barrel inscription, Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, standard markings on the upper tang, and matching serial numbers on the lower tang and receiver. Attractive birds eye maple 12 groove slide handle and deluxe style checkered pistol grip buttstock with Winchester hard rubber grip cap, and nickel plated crescent buttplate. The left side of the lower tang is stamped "36085" with matching number on the butt end of the stock and partial matching number "085" on the inside of the buttplate.

Fine. 80% original blue remains on the barrel with slightly lightened markings, scattered small dings and scratches, and some mild brown patina. The magazine tube has thinned to an overall artificial brown patina. The receiver, trigger guard, and buttplate have 95% period non-factory nickel plated finish remaining with some scattered pitting visible, small scratches and nicks, and well defined markings. The refinished wood is very fine with attractive figure, sharp recut checkering, and some small dings. Mechanically excellent.
