Very Scarce Mexican Fabrica Nacional De Armas Obregon Semi-Automatic Pistol -
Serial no. A120, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips. Manufactured
in Mexico in the early 1930s, the Obregon Pistol was intended to be a home-grown
alternative to the Colt Government Model for the Mexican Army. In use for a limited

Government Model, the guts of the Obregon are a whole different beast, integrating a rotary barrel locking mechanism, combination safety switch/slide catch, and integrating a magazine well safety. Fixed sights, “Sistema OBREGON/Calibre 11,43” on the left side of the slide, knurled wide spur hammer, serrated trigger, arched serrated mainspring housing, unmarked full blue magazine and checkered grips.
CONDITION: Very good, with 30% of the original blue finish, with a mixed brown and gray patina on the remainder, edge wear, and scattered mild pitting. The grips are fair, with a vertical split in the left panel, dents and scuffs. The magazine well safety has been removed, mechanically needs adjustment.
Provenance: The Gus Cargile Collection.

Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 110658, 22 cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips.
Produced in Argentina, the Ballester-Molina was intended to be the home-grown successor to the Model
1927 a licensed copy of the Colt Government Model Pistol. This particular example was factory-made as

Blade and notch sights, with the three-line address, patent and caliber markings on the left side of the slide, matching numbers on the chamber and the left rear side of the frame, ribbed grips and a full blue magazine. CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing bright edge wear on the bottom forward slide, minor spotting, and a small amount of handling/takedown marks.
