rifle manufactured in August 1904 that is chambered in the very scarce .35 W.C.F. This cartridge was the last cartridge actually developed for this model before production stopped. It has a deluxe fancy checkered walnut stock and forend with a hard-rubber, shotgun buttplate. It has the standard two line Winchester factory address and patent

Excellent Winchester Deluxe Model 1895 Lever Action Rifle in .35 WCF - Serial no. 44741, 35 WCF cal., 5/8 inch round bbl., blue finish, highly figured walnut checkered

dates on the left side of the receiver, a small “matted” non-reflective roll marking on top of the receiver ring. The barrel has the standard two- line “Nickel Steel Barrel/Especially for Smokeless Powder” markings on the left side of the barrel and “35 WCF” on top at the breech. It is fitted
with a standard Winchester half-nickel dovetailed blade front sight with an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. The upper tang has the two-line Winchester Model 1895 marking, and the lower tang is tamped with serial number. As noted, the deluxe fancy straight grip walnut stock and forend are
both are factory checkered, and both have the hand-rubbed “piano” type varnish finish.
It has an all blue metal finish with a color casehardened hammer and locking lever on the underside
of the receiver. CONDITION: Excellent with 90% plus of the original blued finish overall, minor edge and high spot wear, some minor
spotting/flaking of the blue on the upper rear edges of the receiver. There is a slightly noticeable, larger scratch on the upper
right side of the receiver also. The highly figured stock and forend are both excellent with 98% of their fine hand-rubbed, high polished piano type finish, and both showing some minor handling marks/light pressure marks in a few areas on the sides of the stock and underside of the forend. This is an exceptionally nice, high condition Winchester Model 1895 rifle in the very desirable .35 WCF cartridge. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,500 - 8,500

Desirable Antique Special Order Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action
Rifle - Serial no. 119448, 32-40 cal., 26 inch part octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1898 (per winchesterguns.com) and featuring special order features (button magazine, half octagon barrel and checkered plastic shotgun buttplate). Dovetail German silver blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights on a barrel marked with the two-line address ahead of the rear sight and “32-40” at the breech. The upper tang is marked “MODEL 1894/-WINCHESTER-/ PAT AUG 21 1894.” The serial number is on the underside of the frame. Casehardened hammer and lever and the remaining surfaces are blue. Mounted on a smooth forearm and straight grip stock. CONDITION: Very fine. The rifle retains 80% original blue finish showing thinning to a brown. There are a few patches of minor pitting. The hammer and lever retain 60% original case colors. The wood is fine with a few long scratches and some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500

Winchester Semi-Deluxe Model 1886 Lightweight Takedown Lever Action Rifle
with Factory Letter - Serial no. 132347, 33 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. The accompanying factory letter
lists this rifle with round barrel in .33 caliber, plain trigger, Lyman receiver sight, half magazine, takedown configuration, shotgun buttplate
and checkered plain grain pistol grip stock when received in the warehouse on January 18, 1906 and shipped the next day. Beaded blade Lyman front sight, filler block in the rear sight dovetail and Lyman receiver sight. Standard Winchester markings including a factory oval proof stamped on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Mounted on straight grain forearm and pistol grip stock featuring checkering, hard rubber Winchester grip cap and steel shotgun buttplate. “476” is stamped on the left side of the lower tang and stock inlet. The number “8327” is crossed out on the buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 60% original blue finish with the balance thinning to a brown and high edge wear. Cold blue touch up is visible on the barrel. Some visible original case colors remain on the hammer and lever. The refinished wood is fine with scattered minor handling evidence and recut checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,000 - 5,000
