Krieghoff Classic Double Rifle in .500/460 Nitro
with Case - Serial no. 111296, 500/416 Nitro cal., 23 5/8 inch solid rib
bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with ramped, beaded blade front
sight and fixed rear sight on the rear quarter rib, a single band of scroll engraving around either breech, and automatic ejectors. The caliber marking, serial number, and manufacture date (“1016” for October 2016) are all marked on the barrel lumps. The blued boxlock action features double triggers and checkering on the barrel release and the tang mounted manual cocking piece. The underside is marked “KRIEGHOFF/CLASSIC/GERMANY”. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered semi-beavertail forend with Deeley latch style release and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and rubber recoil pad. Includes a factory takedown case. Length of pull 15 inches. Weight 10 lbs 11 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish with a few scratches and worn finish on the trigger guard, otherwise minor handling evidence. The wood is very good with scattered dings and scratches, concentration of marks at the front of the pistol grip, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 8,000 - 12,000

Factory Signed and Engraved S.I.A.C.E. Alaskan Model Double Rifle - Serial no. 45994, 45/70 Govt. cal., 23 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 2007. Ramped, beaded blade front sight and dovetailed rear sight on the raised quarter rib section, standard markings, single gold inlaid band at either breech, and ejectors. The coin finished bolstered side plate boxlock action features near full coverage floral scroll engraving with a boars head on the underside, double triggers, and a tang mounted safety switch. The trigger plate is signed “Boe D” to the left of the trigger. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered semi-Schnabel forend with Anson button release and engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with coin grip cap, cheekpiece, and solid rubber recoil pad. Length of pull 14 3/4 inches. Weight 7 lbs 2 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes, light handling evidence, scattered light oxidation on the barrels, small spot of oxidation on the triggers and trigger guard, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend.
