World War II U.S. Springfield M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle with British Lend-Lease Proofs - Serial no. 449086, 30-06 cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in February of 1942, just after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and the formal entry of the U.S. into one of the most decisive conflicts the world has ever seen. Blade front and peep rear sights, with a protective cover on the set screw of the former and a set of early pattern adjustment drums (“BATTLE RANGE” windage and “LEFT/LEFT” elevation with closed arrows absent locking bar) on the latter. Fitted with a “SA 11-41” barrel with British lend-lease proofs, “SA” bolt, trigger guard, trigger housing, hammer, safety and uncut operating rod. The stock has no visible markings and a checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 95% plus of the original parkerized finish with some light edge wear and scattered light handling marks. The sanded and refinished wood is fine with no marking a few scattered dings and scruffs. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,500

Harrington & Richardson Model 60 Reising Semi-Automatic Carbine - Serial no. 2580, 45 ACP cal., 18 inch round bbl., gray finish, walnut stock. Produced in limited quantities (approximately 3248) between 1944 and 1946. Blade front and elevation adjustable peep rear sights, with the 3-line model and address markings atop the receiver, “PH” on the breech, and the “SAFE S.A.” selector markings on the right side. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a ribbed steel buttplate. Magazine absent.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 95% of the original parkerized finish on the barrel, receiver, and magazine well, showing some thin spots and handling marks. Some rust is present on the sling swivels and buttplate, with heavier finished-over pitting on the latter. The trigger guard is a reblued replacement. The reoiled stock is fine, with mild scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

U.S. Winchester M1 Garand Semi- Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 2372241, 30-06 cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in January of 1944 on contract for the U.S. government, subsequently arsenal refurbished and then restored to World War II specification. Standard blade front and fully adjustable rear peep sights with “NI- C” elevation and “DRC”/”IHC” windage drums, Winchester barrel with the “WP” proof on the chamber, and “W.R.A.” marked bolt, trigger guard, hammer, safety, trigger housing, and relief cut operating rod. The stock bears the enhanced “W.R.A./G.H.D.” cartouche on the left side and “W136” on the underside of the pistol grip, with a green canvas sling and a checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, with 70% of the arsenal refurbished parkerized finish, showing bright gray on the gas cylinder, bright edge wear, and scattered dings and handling marks. The reoiled wood is very good, with a number of scuffs, scratches and dents. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,250

Lyle Naval Line Throwing Cannon with Weighted Line Projectile - Serial no. 3712, 2 1/2 inch. This muzzle loading line throwing cannon, also referred to a
a Lyle gun, was manufactured by
Sculler Safety Corporation. It has
a 28 inch long iron barrel with a
2 1/2 inch bore. The front of the muzzle
is stamped “SCULLER GUN 3712 TJC MMI PCT”, and the brass plaque at the breech is marked “SCULLER/SAFETY CORP/No 3712/122 BROAD STREET/NEW YORK”. The address is also on the left of the carriage in raised cast letters, with the company name on the right. Includes one weighted line projectile.
CONDITION: Very good with applied black paint and some areas of corrosion. The projectile has deep pitting on the weighted end.

U.S. Springfield M1C Pattern Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle with M82 Scope - Serial no. 3276204, 30-06 cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Developed in 1944, the M1C was the first sniper variant of the Springfield Armory M1 Garand rifle. The serial number tracks to being manufactured in October or November 1944, with a Springfield barrel dated “8-45”. Blade and peep sights, with a “SA” bolt, trigger guard, trigger housing, hammer, safety, and uncut operating rod. The rail is renumbered “3276204” to match the receiver on the underside, with the Griffin & Howe marked ring set numbered “3641774” and a “109” numbered M82 scope. A “SA” marked M2 flash hider is also included. The stock has “crossed cannons” and “SA/EMcF” cartouches, a K-Line marked cheekpiece (screws not installed or included), a leather sling and a checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fine with rewelded receiver, with 95% of the refinished parkerized finish, showing edge and cycling wear along with some mild handling marks. The stock is excellent. with some light scratches and dents. The scope shows some mild exterior wear, with crisp optics. Mechanically good. Estimate: 2,500 - 3,750
