   LOT 463 Winchester Model 21 Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 22656, 12 gauge, 30 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, checkered walnut stock. Blued Winchester Proof Steel barrels with single white bead sight on the matted, concave solid rib, standard markings, 2 3/4 inch chambers with
automatic ejectors, and chokes marked “MOD”/ FULL”. The blued receiver features a gold plated single selective trigger and a tang mounted
  automatic safety switch with gold inlaid “SAFE”.
Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrels and receiver. Nicely figured checkered walnut
beavertail forend with rotary latch release and pistol grip stock with Winchester grip cap and serrated buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bores 9 inches from the breech .730/.729 inches; choke
constriction .012/.034 inches; minimum wall thickness .028/.034 inches; 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 5/8 inch drop at heel; 14 1/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs 10 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine as refurbished, retaining 98% plus reapplied blue, some scattered light spotting, and minor handling evidence. There is a chip at the left front of the stock; otherwise, the wood is very fine with a few minor scratches and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Spectacular Engraved and Gold Inlaid Winchester Model 42 Takedown Slide Action Shotgun - Serial no. 100934, 410 gauge, 26 inch
ut stock. Manufactured in 1953 and subsequently professionally engraved. This shotgun features an engraved wooded scene on
each side of the receiver flanked by floral scroll engraving. The left side has two gold inlaid hunting dogs and a quail, and
a gold inlaid hunting dog and two quail on the right side. The top of the receiver has a gold inlaid wire border. There is a wedge
of light scroll engraving on the breech sides of the barrel and on the trigger guard. Matte solid rib with two brass bead sights, 3 inch chamber, and choked full. The left side of the barrel is marked with the two line address, Winchester trade mark, model, gauge, chamber and choke information. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver and takedown ring, with a pigeon on the bottom of the magazine tube. Jeweled bolt and follower, and mounted with extra fancy fleur-de-lis checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with plastic Winchester grip cap and buttplate. Length of pull is 13 7/8 inches. CONDITION: Very fine as professionally embellished, retaining 99% blue and gold finishes with only a few light scratches and handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent. A very attractive engraved and gold inlaid Winchester model 42. Estimate: 3,500 - 4,750
LOT 466 Bellmore-Johnson Tool Co. Winchester 10 Gauge Brass Presentation Model Breech Loading Signal Cannon with Case - Serial no. P160, 10 , 11 5/8 inch round bbl., bright finish. Introduced in 1976 to celebrate the United States bicentennial and manufactured under license from Winchester. Brass construction overall, with bright steel trunnions, breech, and hammer assembly. Marked for 10 gauge blanks on top of the cannon, the address on the left side, cast-in “W.R.A.” markings on the sides of the carriage and a pair of Firestone 6x1.50-F tires. Includes a black cord firing line and a wooden Winchester crate numbered to the cannon as well as a brass cornered hardwood case with the hardwood display base acting as the bottom of the case. CONDITION: Fine, showing mostly an attractive mellow aged color on the brass and bright steel with a patch of chemical type oxidation on the front right of the barrel. Mechanically excellent. The case is also very good with some scattered minor scratches and dings. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750
