Antique Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle in .38-56 W.C.F. -
Serial no. 61063, 38-56 WCF cal., 26 inch octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1891. It has standard Winchester markings and is fitted with German silver blade front and elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sights. Mounted with a smooth forearm straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very good, retains 30% of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and traces of the original case colors in sheltered areas with the balance a silver-grey patina. The re-oiled wood is also very good with some light flaking on the forearm and numerous scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000
LOT 47 Winchester Model 1876 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 60633, 40-60 WCF cal., 28 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1888 as a Third Model with integral dust cover rail and dust cover with serrations at the rear, the two-line Winchester address/King’s patent marking and “40-60 W.C.F.” on top of the barrel, model marking on the upper tang, “40-60” on the bottom of the cartridge elevator. Fitted with German silver blade front (installed backwards) and folding ladder rear sights. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a trapdoor crescent buttplate (cleaning rod not included). CONDITION: Very good, retains 20% of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to a mottled grey-brown patina. The wood is good with numerous minor dings, divots, and scratches scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750
LOT 48 Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action .44-40 Rifle - Serial no. 272700B, 44 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1888 as a third model with integral dust cover rail and dust cover with serrations at the rear. The barrel has a dovetail blade front sight, an elevation adjustable rear sight, the two-line address/patent dates legend stamped ahead of the rear sight and “44 WCF” stamped at the breech. The upper tang has the model marking. “44 CAL” is marked on the cartridge elevator. The straight grip stock is fitted with a trapdoor buttplate (cleaning rod not included). CONDITION: Very good, retaining 20% of original blue finish in the protected areas, otherwise the rifle has a smooth brown-gray patina. Traces of original niter blue remain on the loading gate, and traces of original case colors remain on the hammer and lever. The wood is also very good with some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750
LOT 49 Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine in .25-20 W.C.F. - Serial no. 630682, 25-20 WCF cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, gumwood stock. Manufactured in 1911 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with square base pinned blade front and folding ladder rear sights, and a staple and saddle ring on the left of the receiver. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, retains 70% of the original blue finish on the barrel and magazine with the balance showing mostly a smooth grey patina, a small patch of deep pitting on the left of the receiver, and some minor pitting on the bottom of the barrel band. The wood is also fine with some minor dings and scratches scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,100 - 1,600

Attractive Winchester Model 1887 Lever Action Shotgun - Serial no. 32789, 10 gauge, 32 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1891. Single bead sight on the barrel with a 2 7/8 inch chamber and choke measuring modified. Standard “WRACO” monogram on the left side of the casehardened receiver. Finely figured two-piece slab forend and pistol grip stock with checkered iron buttplate and 12 1/2 inch length of pull. CONDITION: Very good, retains traces of the original blue finish and patterns of original case colors with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina. The wood is also very good with some scattered minor dings and scratches and fine figure. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500

Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine - Serial no. 718067, 32 WCF cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, gumwood stock. Manufactured in 1913 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with pinned blade front and folding ladder rear sights, as well as a saddle ring on the left of the receiver. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, retains 40% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to a mostly smooth grey-brown patina with a few scattered patches of light surface pitting. The wood is also fine with some scattered minor dings, scratches and chips. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 950 - 1,400

Three Boxes of Winchester 50-110-300 Express Cartridges - , N/A. 1) One box of Winchester 50-110-300 express ammunition with blue label showing a picture of the bullet on the front of the lid and the Winchester guarantee on the bottom portion of the box. Copper “X” stamped nose insert. 2) Two boxes of Winchester 50-110-300 smokeless soft point ammunition with orange labels with black text with “STAYNLESS” behind the black text and red “W” on one end of the bottom portion of the box. One of which still has a partial label.
CONDITION: Very fine on two of the boxes, the third fine with ink writing added, retaining vibrant colors on the labels and containing their full complement of cartridges. The boxes themselves show some storage marks from their years of display. Casings are bright and have some light oxidation on the exposed lead portions of the bullets.
