Documented Colt Shooting Master
Double Action Revolver in Very Scarce .45 Colt with
Factory Letter - Serial no. 339236, 45 LC cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue
finish, walnut grips. The included copy of the factory letter confirms the current finish, barrel length, and caliber when it was shipped to A. N. Kay
of Harren, Arizona on December 24, 1934. Knowledgeable collectors believe that about 3,500 of these Shooting Master revolvers were built, of which, only 156 were chambered for 45 Colt.
CONDITION: Very fine retaining 95% slightly faded original blue finish,
light handling evidence, cylinder drag line, and some high edge wear. The slightly undersized replacement grips show a few minor marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Colt Shooting Master Double Action
Revolver in Scarce .357 Magnum - Serial no. 342226, 357
magnum cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured
in 1937. Standard barrel markings, red blade front sight, and King rear
sight. Matching serial number on the crane, yoke, and both grip panels.
Knowledgeable correctors believe that about 3,500 of these Shooting Master
revolvers were built, of which, only 500 were chambered for 357 Magnum.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90% plus original blue finish, light cylinder drag line,
slight wear at the muzzle, and light wear at the high edges. The wood is very fine with a tiny chip at the left toe and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Service Double Action Target Revolver with Special Order
Factory Lanyard Swivel and Factory Letter - Serial no. 328101, 45
LC cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. The included
Colt factory letter confirms the current caliber, finish, barrel length,
and factory installed lanyard swivel in the butt when it was shipped to A. F. Stoeger of New York, New York, on April 27, 1931. Beside the extremely rare lanyard ring, the gun shows standard markings and features with matching serial numbers on the crane, yoke, and both grip panels.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 90% plus original blue, faint cylinder drag line, slight wear at the muzzle, minor wear near the left grip toe, and sharp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Excellent Colt Banker’s Special Double Action Revolver -
Serial no. 398307, 38 S&W cal., 2 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1941. Round blade front and frame notch rear sights, caliber and model marking on left side of barrel, two-line address and patent mark on the right, matching numbers on frame and crane, checkered hammer and trigger, “Rampant Colt” on left side plate, and checkered silver Colt medallion grips.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue finish, minor handling evidence, slight rub at the left of the muzzle, and sharp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection.

-A) Colt Courier Revolver - Serial no. 55900LW, 22 LR cal., 3 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Approximately 3,000 Courier model revolvers were manufactured between 1953 and 1956. Manufactured in 1956. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, standard markings, serrated trigger, and a serrated hammer. Matching serial number on the crane and yoke. Includes original Colt “wood grain” box. CONDITION: Excellent overall,
retaining 99% original blue finish, limited handling evidence, spot of corrosion on both sides of the hammer, and sharp checkering on
the excellent grips. The box
is very fine with light wear.
Mechanically excellent.
B) Colt Police Positive
Revolver - Serial no. 148367,
38 special cal., 4 inch round
bbl., blue finish, hard rubber
grips. Manufactured in 1919. Round blade and notch rear sights, standard markings, and matching serial numbers on the crane, yoke, and both grip panels. Includes a non-matching Colt “wood grain”
box for an Official Police revolver.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue finish, minor handling evidence, light cylinder drag line, and sharp grip checkering. The box is very good. Mechanically excellent.

Modified to single action only.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining
97% plus original blue finish, minor handling
evidence, faint cylinder drag line, and sharp checkering. The box
is fair with tan paint covering the markings and moderate wear. Mechanically excellent as factory modified to single action only.
B) Colt Army Special Double Action Revolver with Factory Letter - Serial no. 484504, 32-20 WCF cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, hard rubber grips. The included copy of the factory letter confirms the current caliber, barrel length, and finish (grips not listed) when it was shipped to Simmons Hardware Co. of St. Louis, MO, for the Erie Hardware Co. on October 25, 1922. Matching serial numbers on the crane, yoke, and both grip panels. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with much of the loss at the muzzle and backstrap, minor handling evidence, and sharp grip checkering on the oversized replacement grips.
