Description:

Fitted with a drift adjustable shielded bead front sight and a 3-leaf platinum wire accented express rear sight, graduated for 100, 200 and 300. Standard proofs are present on the barrel and receiver with the BSA crossed rifles and Cordite markings on the chamber, light border engraving on the receiver, socket and magazine, and W.L. Jeffery & Co's address (13 King Street, London) over "9579" on the dust cover. Checkered pistol grip stock with a horn ramrod tip, hard rubber grip cap, a pewter diamond inlay on the right side of the buttstock, smooth inscription panel on the underside and an engraved flat buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Fine as period retailer refinished showing 75% of the blue with areas of brown patina and mild spotting and handling marks overall. The stock is fine with mild dents, a streak of lost varnish on the left side of the buttstock, and sharp checkering. A set of four notches have been cut behind the grip. Mechanically very good.
