Manufactured in 1923 with standard two-line address/patent dates and Rampant Colt on the left of the slide, caliber marking on the right, serial number on the left of the frame, "VP", "1", and "85" marked trigger guard, and standard features including the checkered hard rubber grips with Colt Banners and Rampant Colts. Very fine, retains 80% of the original blue finish and 60% of the original case colors with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, some scattered light spotting, and a couple small patches of very light surface pitting. The grips are excellent with minimal handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with moderate wear and some corner separation.
