Manufactured in 1884, the desirable Pall Mall, London Colt two-line address on top of the barrel and the desirable faint "COLT HOUSE 38" etched panel on the left. The serial number is on the butt. There are London proofs on the bottom of the barrel and cylinder. It is fitted with a pair of smooth rosewood grips. Includes an oak case with Colt London Agency label on the interior of the lid, key, cleaning rod, and ten .380 Eley cartridges.

Fine, retains 40% of the original blue finish with the balance having extensive scattered light pitting and mostly a smooth grey patina. The acid etched panel somewhat faint but visible. The grips are very fine with a few scattered very light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine with some very light handling/storage wear.
