Manufactured in 1877 with the standard two-line address on top of the barrel, "COLT NEW 22" on the left in an etched panel, patent date on the bottom along with matching serial number "6607", and full serial number on the butt. There are London proofs on the barrel and cylinder. It has standard features including smooth rosewood grips with "6607" hand marked inside the right panel. Includes an oak presentation case with Colt London Agency label inside the lid, cleaning rod, and ten .22 RF cartridges.
Exceptionally fine, retains 85% plus of the original nickel finish with a few scattered patches of light flaking on the front edge of the cylinder and front right of the barrel, and a crisp etched panel. The grips are excellent with a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine with some scattered very light handling/storage marks.
