Factory Engraved Gebruder Merkel Model 211E Over/Under Combination Gun - Serial no. 68620, 12x7x57R gauge, 25 5/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1968. Blued Bohler Antinit steel barrels with beaded blade front and two position rear sights on the matted solid rib, standard Merkel markings, 2 3/4 inch shotgun chamber, and ejectors for each barrel. The scalloped casehardened bolstered boxlock action features light floral scroll engraving, double triggers, and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered three-piece forend with engraved fittings including the Deeley latch release and pistol grip stock with grip cap, cheekpiece, and checkered plastic buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements for over barrel: bore diameter 9 inches from the breech .730
inches; choke constriction .049 inches; minimum wall thickness .024 inches; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs 3 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% plus original blue finish, 85% original case colors, and light handling evidence. Game Scene Engraved H. Burgsmuller & Sohne Sidelock Cape Gun with Case and Extra Barrel Set - Serial no. 592, 16 gauge, 26 3/4 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with beaded blade front and dovetailed rear sight (one leaf absent) on the raised matted solid rib which is marked “H. BURGSMULLER & SOHNE, HREIENSEN” in silver, German nitro proofs, 2 1/2 inch shotgun chamber, choke constriction measured .033 inches, and rifle barrel marked “10,5 mm” on the flat. The casehardened sidelock action displays game scene engraving on either lock with a pair of deer and a pheasant in a forest scene on the left and a hunter downing an elk on the right with a fleeing bird in the foreground all
surrounded by floral motifs. The gun features double triggers, cocking indicators, and tang mounted safety switch. Import marked on the water table. Lightly figured, multi-point
checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings, horn tip inlay, and Deeley latch release and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, horn grip cap, and serrated horn buttplate. Includes an extra set of 29 1/2 inch 16 gauge 2 1/2 inch chambered barrels with matching rib marking and serial number to the primary set and choke constrictions of .031/.031 inches. Also included is a leather bound
takedown case with “H.T.” on the lid that houses the whole set. Stock measurements (shotgun barrels attached): 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 7/8 inch drop at heel; 14 5/8 inch length of pull.
CONDITION: Very good, retaining 90% plus reblued finish on the barrels, silvered case colors on the action and locks, some discoloration on the underside, and mild handling evidence. The stock is with scattered dings and scratches and areas of worn checkering. The extra barrels are very good with scratching and thinning. The case is fine. Mechanically excellent. LOT 3436 Factory Engraved J. P. Sauer & Sohn Sidelock Drilling - Serial no. 64787, 12/11mm gauge, 26 3/4 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued Krupp fluss stahl barrels with beaded blade front and flip up rear sights on the solid matted rib, standard Sauer proofs and German proofs, 2 1/2 inch chambers with single extractor, and chokes measured at .012/.037 inches (improved cylinder/full). The casehardened sidelock action features fine scroll engraving covering nearly all of the surface, “J. P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL.” on either lock, and external gold washed cocking indicators. Double triggers, bushed firing pins, manual cocking lever for the rifle barrel, and tang mounted flip up sight and safety switch. Nicely figured, multi-point

Engraved Josef Zeller Drilling with Scope - Serial no. 21266, 16/8.7mm gauge, 26 7/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued Krupp-Flussstahl barrels with beaded blade and flip up rear sights on the matted solid rib which is marked “JOS. ZELLER, DORTMUNT - PADERHORN”, 2 3/4 inch chambers, and choke constrictions of .024/.029 inches (improved modified/full). The casehardened scalloped boxlock action features sideclips, extensive engraving consisting of scroll and rose designs, bushed firing pins, Greener style safety and crossbolt, double triggers, and tang mounted selector switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut forend with Deeley latch release and pistol grip stock with cartridge trap door and serrated hard rubber buttplate. Includes a mounted scope marked “H/MIGNON/Dr. W. GERARD/CHARLOTTENBURG” on the underside at the rear of the tube. Length of pull 14 3/16 inches. Weight 7 lbs 10 oz including scope.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% original blue and 60% plus original case colors, mild handling evidence, and some areas of spotting. The wood is also very fine with scattered small scratches, minor varnish loss, and crisp checkering. The scope optics are clear with some haze at the edges. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,000

Game Scene Engraved H. Kreutzberger Over/Under Combination Gun - Serial no. 1157, 20/6.3x52 R gauge, 25 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with front blade and rear flip up sights on the matted solid rib which is marked H. KREUTZBERGER, DESSAU”, standard German proofs, and the shotgun barrel has a 2 3/4 inch chamber and is choked .016 inches (modified). The casehardened sidelock action has a single Kersten crossbolt, and displays forested game scenes on either side surrounded by scrollwork and features double triggers and a tang mounted safety. Lightly figured multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and Deeley latch release and pistol grip stock. Length of pull 14 1/8 inches. Weight 6 lbs 3 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 99% original blue on the barrels, 80% muted case colors on the action, light handling evidence, a few minor scratches in the wood, and crisp wood checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000
