Gold and Stone Inlaid Zlatoust Officer’s Dagger with Sheath -
Manufactured at the Zlatoust Arms factory in Zlatoust, Russia. The dagger is adorned with fine inlaid floral scrolls, geometric designs, and the Imperial Russian Crest at the guard. The sheath is adorned in the same fashion with the classical Russian motif of St. George slaying a dragon. The sheath, guard, grip, and pommel are adorned with green stones. Per consignor blade is made from vintage steel. The dagger measures 13 3/4 inches from tip to pommel. Includes a hardwood display case, shipping box, and factory paperwork describing the dagger in Russian. CONDITION: Excellent with a bright blade and crisp engraving overall. Case is excellent. Gold Inlaid Zlatoust “Tiger” Knife with Sheath - Manufactured at the Zlatoust Arms factory in Zlatoust, Russia. The knife is adorned with fine inlaid floral scrolls, geometric designs, a tiger head pommel, and a scene depicting a tiger attacking a deer. The sheath is adorned in the same fashion with a scene of a tiger making its way through a wooded landscape as well as pink inlaid stones. Per consignor the blade is rare Swedish Damascus. The knife measures 12 3/8 inches from tip to pommel. Includes a hardwood display case, shipping box, and factory paperwork describing the knife in Russian. CONDITION: Excellent overall with slight loss of the bright gold on the sheath and otherwise limited handling marks. Box and case are very fine with limited handling marks. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000

The sheath is adorned in the same fashion with a different scene showing a boar being hunted by dogs. The outline of this panel is adorned with blue stones. Damascus steel blade. The pommel of the knife is fashioned into the shape of a boar’s head. The knife measures 13 inches from tip to pommel. Manufactured at the Zlatoust Arms factory in Zlatoust, Russia. The knife is adorned with fine inlaid floral scrolls, geometric designs, and a scene depicting a roaring grizzly. The sheath is adorned in the same fashion with a painted scene showing a grizzly bear ready to fight the wolf that has challenged him. The pommel of the knife is fashioned into the shape of a grizzly’s head. Damascus steel blade. The knife measures 12 1/2 inches from tip to pommel. The sheath is adorned in the same fashion with a scene showing a bobcat returning from a hunt with a game bird in its mouth as well as white inlaid stones. Per consignor the blade is rare Swedish Damascus. The knife measures 12 1/2 inches from tip to pommel.
