2017 Year in Review

Return to

By Joel Kolander

We did it again. Rock Island Auction Company is proud to report more than $63 million in auction sales for 2017, resulting in several important milestones. It again places RIAC as the #1 firearms auction house in the world, as well as breaks RIAC’s own industry record set in 2016 where they bested their nearest competitor by more than $30 million.

The numbers are staggering.  8 auctions, over 33,000 items sold, and over 1.1 million unique website visitors – we could go on and on, but frankly, we’d rather show you. The following infographic does an excellent job at showing the results of our marketing efforts, our continuing growth, and of course, those remarkable results. In his first two years at the helm, RIAC President Kevin Hogan has continued to lead the company onward and upward with not only sales, but with client relations as well as expanding the company’s reach. The results are plain to see.
