The Consignment Process

When you agree to consign, we take care of everything: shipping, photography, storage, insurance, legal paperwork, and advertising. We do all the work and charge a simple, flat percentage on the sale price of your item. We built our business on integrity, not hidden fees.

While there are many moving parts behind the scenes, all you have to worry about are 4 simple steps.

1. Evaluation

We determine what your item may achieve at auction. This can be done in any number of ways from a simple phone call to a visit from a RIAC representative. There is never an obligation or cost for an evaluation.

2. Transport

When you agree to consign or sell your items, we have several options available for transporting them to our facility. These range from shipping your items, to a scheduled pick up with our DOT certified drivers.

3. Selling

Between arriving and being auctioned, we will have put our world-class marketing efforts to work for your item. Auction day is where you see our experience come to fruition.

4. Payment

35 calendar days after auction, payments are sent by both check and ACH. You will also receive a detailed report on the sale of your consigned items.
