Manufactured from 1893 to 1939. Standard two line barrel address and patent date marking, blade front sight and folding leaf rear sight. The frame and lever have a smooth dark patina. There is limited pin point pitting and some minor surface oxidation. Re-varnished wood with a rough texture on the buttstock.

OD - VERY GOOD- all original parts; none to 30% original finish; original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp; clear lettering, numerals and design on metal; wood slightly scratched or bruised.

Manufactured in 1902 with the barrel subsequently shortened to current length. Very faint traces of the top barrel flat address/patent marking remaining with "22 Cal" on the left flat. Fixed sights. Upper tang has been drilled for a sight mount with holes (2) unfilled. Stock has been fitted with a replacement metal buttplate and has some chips. The smooth slide handle and stock have been sanded and refinished.
