According to factory records, revolver was shipped to Hartley & Graham of New York on March 11, 1880 (copy included). Front sight and cylinder pin screw absent, with unmarked barrel and frame, "44 CAL" on the guard, faint but matching serial numbers and ill fitting one piece ivory grips. Letter also verifies serial number, caliber, blue finish and barrel length, and grips "NOT LISTED".
