Manufactured in 1884. 3" chambers, extractor and 13 1/2" LOP. The accompanying factory letter verifies the gauge, 28" barrels weight 9 1/2 Ibs. "Yes $65.00" for factory engraving and that it was shipped to Andrus & Naedele, Hartford, Conn. on March 21, 1884. Remarks state that the gun was manufactured with 32" barrels but they were cut off at the factory to 28". Writer believes the factory engraving is an error.
