Description:

The letter confirms the caliber and blue finish when the revolver was shipped to Hartley & Graham in New York City on June 4, 1880, in a lot of 50 revolvers. The lack of barrel length and grip indicate it was shipped with a 7 1/2 inch barrel and smooth walnut grip.
