"Everlasting Love" cold patina and parcel-gilt bronze and chryselephantine sculpture. Sometimes this sculpture is called "The Proposal," and it is a fantastic multicolor bronze with a man's head and lady's head carved out of antique ivory. This large sculpture rests on a multi-level onyx elongated oval caramel color plinth that is signed "DH Chiparus" on the top of the onyx base. This sculpture is prominently featured in the book "Chiparus: Master of Art Deco" by Alberto Shayo on pages 54 and 87. The sculpture's dimensions a 26 inches in height, 20 inches in length and 6 inches wide. Weight is approximately 86 lbs. Very good with slight crazing of the antique ivory head of the man.
