The lot includes two Nazi era police shako style caps. One is standard green felt with the aluminum front eagle, and black leather top, rim, and chinstrap. The other is green felt with brown leather components and a red and silver oval badge at the top front. The leather color and style is similar to those worn by the rural gendarmerie. The rural style cap is poor with a missing front visor. Standard shako is fine. The alpine cap features a black fregio at the front depicting an eagle over two blowing horns, and crossed cannons. This indicates a soldier within a mountain artillery regiment. The cap is very fine overall. An extra eagle for a Nazi police shako is also included.
