Manufactured 1861. The pair were subsequently embellished with matching 75% coverage floral scroll engraving and silver plating. They are both contained in a modern hardwood case that also holds the included powder flask, Colt's patent dual-cavity bullet mold, Eley Bros. cap tin, nipple wrench, and a box of Colt's Cartridge Works combustible envelope cartridges.
