LONDON” and with bead front sight and rear sight of one standing and one folding leaf each with platinum inlaid center line, and engraved at the breech ends with a band of stylized foliage. Casehardened action with carved percussion fences and long blued toplever. Casehardened non-rebounding backaction locks each signed “HOLLAND & HOLLAND”. Furniture including blued trigger guard. Border and light scroll engraving throughout. Barrels and action struck with Birmingham black powder proof marks. Figured checkered butt and forearm, the butt with blank silver initial escutcheon at the wrist. With brass cornered fitted case with accessories, the lid with printed Holland & Holland trade label.
