Description:

Non-functioning miniature model of a U.S. M1845 32-pounder cannon on a wooden coastal type pivoting barbette carriage. The truck portion of the barbette functions as it should allowing the gun to recoil and be pushed forward into battery, and the elevation screw is operational. The steel tube is approximately 15 1/2" from muzzle to cascabel and about .80 caliber. The carriage is approximately 24" x 8" x 9 1/2". Very fine with some light handling/storage type wear.
