Manufactured in San Leandro, California, in the 1920s. The trap is fired by the animal striking the plate, killing the animal via the directed blast of gas towards the underbelly using a .38 S&W blank cartridge. Includes correct period box. Very good, some light oxidation in areas and some staining on the box. Needs some mechanically adjustment as the firing pin does not hold every time.
