Manufactured 1906, left of lower tang marked "1344 R", "1344" in stock inlet, later added "I" pattern checkering. The included factory letter lists the rifle in .32 W.S. with a half octagon barrel, half magazine, plain trigger, and plain pistol grip stock with a rubber shotgun buttplate when received at the warehouse on 13 August 1906 and shipped 24 August 1906.
