Blued receiver marked “Md.1892” on the receiver-ring and “STEYR 1893” on the sidewall, the left side of the receiver with adjustable Lyman aperture sight. Blued magazine housing and trigger guard with single casehardened trigger. 13 1/4 inch straight-hand stock with steel heel plate, and checkered grip and forearm, the latter with horn cap. The underside of the stock and barrel each with sling eye.
