A) Whitney Variant Model 1842 "New Hampshire" Rifled Musket

"1852" dated barrel tang. Sharps Model 1853 rear sight. Whitney Model 1842 "New Hampshire" rifled muskets are described on pages 455-459 of George D. Moller's book "American Military Shoulder Arms Volume III" with this exact musket photographed on pages 455 and 457. Includes socket bayonet and leather sling.
